North Bar & Kitchen will open to the public on the 6th February as a premium bar and restaurant after a stylish refurbishment.

During the £150,000 refit of the iconic building, which was the former Entropy Bar on Hinckley Road, the new owners of North Bar & Kitchen decided to name the venue after the historic sign ‘H. North Purveyors’ that adorns the building. With help from a grant from Leicester City Council, the sign and the front of the building has been restored to its former glory, as part of the refit.

Owner Sally Davis said “The building is a real landmark in the West End and we wanted our refurbishment to be sympathetic, but also to mark our arrival as a premium venue in the area. We are proud to be adding another great destination to the West End, bringing extra customers and footfall to Hinckley Road.”

Chef Patron, Joanna Betts, who lives in the West End and has over 20 years’ experience in the catering and drinks trade, has designed the food & drink offering to provide a stylish, quality experience throughout the daytime and into the evening. With a selection of brunch, hot drinks and light lunches during the day, and a full dinner menu from 6pm, comprising of North Bar & Kitchen will concentrate on freshly prepared food, all cooked onsite and sourced where possible from local suppliers.

North Bar & Kitchen launches with a VIP Party on Wednesday 4th February and will be open to the public from 6th February. Bookings are now being taken. For more information, please contact 0116 2255961 email info@northbarandkitchen.co.uk or visit www.facebook.co.uk/northbarandkitchen
